I don't suppose you could clue us in to what error you're getting? You
might also want to remove McAfee as it is not compatible with Vista/Windows
Mail and whatever AntiVirus application you end up using should NOT be
allowed to scan email.

I know you are still wanting that monopoly that you have already have, but
what about a patch for this damm error on Outlook express . Why even have
have a junk email folder when you can't even permanently delete the Damm
folder. Just send me a patch to fix this damm thing it sure is nereve racking
when you get thousands of emails to go through each day and you can't delete
the junk folder. I use Symantic Anti Virus can you use that with Windows
Vista . PLEASE RESPOND ASAP
The volunteers that run this newsgroup, most of which don't work for
Microsoft, don't have a monopoly on anything.
I believe Symantec is another source of antivirus programs that don't
work well with Windows Mail under Vista.
Try reading other people's answers on the newsgroup - about a
dozen answers a day point to the patch that usually fixes the problem,
although some antivirus programs keep bringing problems back.
McAfee should not be messing with your email program.
Windows Mail is not compatible with most McAfee and Norton
security programs. Those will need to be uninstalled, not just disabled.
Even compatible antivirus programs will need to have their
email scanning option turned off. For more on this topic see http://www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3
WHAT ERROR? Forgive me, but mind reading is NOT my strong suit. Please
provide more of a description than "this damm error" and maybe we can help.
