I have really been struggling getting started with Outlook 2003. (I feel
like I'm abusing the tolerance of the good people in this newsgroup with my
seemingly endless problems with OL.) Unfortunately, Outlook's Help almost
always misses the point or provides info about advanced, specialized cases.

Is there a book that users have found helpful to learn the basic concepts
and then how to use Outlook with several clients, family members, and
several other categories of contacts, and calendars? In the past, I used
Starfish Sidekick or Palm Desktop software for my calendar, contacts and
expenses; and Outlook Express and the The Bat! for e-mail. I'm trying to
consolidate all those functions and to gain some of the additional
functionality for working with associates.

What books have you found helpful?

Thank you.

There are two main books I learned the most from and one of them for sure is
the one listed below by Patricia Cardoza, its hard to beat, well written and
gives you what you need in the real world. This book is the most searched
out book on Amazon for all the Outlook books.

The other one I think is good also is "Sams Teach Yourself Microsoft Office
Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours" by Diane Poremsky
