Hi all,

Are there any programs out there that require
and are designed for the 64 bit version of Vista
and won't even install on the 32 bit version?

thanks,
charles....

I'm sure there are. I know at lest one person who has one written in Visual
Basic 6.

Any 64-bit only application.

Sure - you might be able to put them on 64bit Windows XP - but if it was
compiled strictly for 64bit processing - it's likely to fail miserably for
32bit platforms.

As far as specific applications who would be unwise enough to do that and
not have a 32bit counterpart 'this early' in the adoption of the 64bit
platform - I cannot state any.... Doesn't mean they do not exist though.
