I have 5 accounts with each a signature. If I am on a certain account/user
in the All Mail Folder pane I would like Outlook to use the signature that
corresponds to the currently highlighted account. Is there a way to do this?
I've tried and it always uses the default signature, which I then have to
delete and insert the correct one. It works fine on reply or forward.

thanks

it would probably be useful to include some information on my version. so
here it is, sorry about that.

I am using Outlook 2003 with 5 email accounts for which I have emails
redirected into 5 corresponding folders.

If you use Word as the default message editor, you can assign per account
signatures.

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

that's a heavy memory price to pay for signature switching, but it works. I
would expect an email program to do this by default and not with the help of
an extra system hog.

thanks for you help in any case.
