Any New Drivers With SP2?

Will the retail box versions of SP2 have all the drivers
that are on the Windows 2000 Hardware Compatibility list
and will the SP2 update be on one CD and not a separate
CD for SP2? I know people in here say you should
download the drivers from the web site of the people that
make the hardware. I like to keep it simple when
installing XP so all you'd have to do is just install the
two main progams Windows, Office then Nero and Antivirus
software and any other plugins that I needed. Thanks.

No SP2 update CD is yet available. One is projected to become available
approx Aug. 25. I doubt that any drivers are included since the thing is
very large already. You would, I guess, get them through normal update as
they are released. IF you have broadband service, get the Professional
version of SP2 here and burn your own CD and install it.

My video card got new drivers. SP2 updated nVidia drivers to 5.6.7.3 which I have already updated to 6.1.7.6 (7/12/04).

This was a fresh install of a slipsteamed SP2 - so the HDD was empty and 5.6.7.3 was installed.

Are you saying that SP2 automatically downgraded your nVidia
driver?

What Nvidia card do you have? I have the Geforce 4 440
MX 64MB AGP.
