Any Great Xmas/Winter Screensavers?

Why? We quite enjoy it.
Christmas without snow is not real.
What's snow at Christmas got to do with the birth of Christ? That is
what we are really supposed to be celebrating.

My favorite freeware is New England Snow screensaver. Don't have
a record of where I found it. Google. Very nice, 250k

Also here you can find an .swf which you can save from
C:\WINDOWS\Temporary Internet Files after it plays. Reminds me of the
talented holiday cards that Jacquie Lawson creates. Received this url
from a friend recently. The Xmas scene was created for Ashland College,
I'm guessing Kentucky. All I was sent was the IP which I can't trace
past the server. Requires flash to play and allows you to DL flash IF
you want to.

1. Introduction
---------------
Snow.exe is a program that makes it snow on your desktop,
behind and between your toplevel-windows. Its purpose is
to provide you with a spirit of winter and waste some of
your superfluous cpu-cycles. The program is of course
inspired by the wonderful xsnow, available for X11, but
snow.exe is not a port of xsnow, nor have we taken any
code from xsnow. The source code for snow.exe is available
from the web site, should anyone care to make any changes.

2. Usage
--------
Snow.exe is started like all other programs, and will then
run until you use Ctrl-Alt-Delete to stop it. There's no
interface to the program apart from the commandline, where
the following options can be specified (nnn is a number):
-num nnn
Number of snowflakes visible on the screen. (default 20)
-side nnn
How far to the sides a flake may move as it falls. (4)
-down nnn
How far a flake drops between each update. (8)
-speed nnn
Milliseconds between updates. (100)
-size nnn
Size of each snowflake. (10)
--blizzard
Same as: -num 300 -size 16 -side 10 -speed 10 -down 16

3. Contact
----------
First of all, snow.exe is more or less useless and we won't
spend to much time fixing it, so if the desktop flickers,
the program uses to much cpu-time, you don't like the shape
of the flakes and so on: don't contact us. We don't care. :)
But if you have found some real problems that we should know
about, you can reach us at (e-mail address removed).

Here, Christmas isn't "real" unless the temperature is 100+. A day at
the beach and/or a barbecue helps too. :-)
100+!!! Where the bloody hell are you John - bloody Marble Bar???

Oh, I see, you meant "100 degrees Fahrenheit", not 100 Celsius, you were
simple converting for the barbarians.

Yep. If I spoke Strine here everyone would need to download a
dictionary to do the translation. :-)

As it is I even have to "translate" pictures. The other day, in
another newsgroup, I had to explain to a yank what the graphic in my
sig file was meant to represent ! < he he >
