Thanks in advance.

Use xcopy.exe to copy the whole partition to some
target disk while the source disk runs as a slave disk
in some other WinXP/2000 PC, then reverse the
process and mark the target partition as active.

Here's the deal:

Though I only know of non-freeware such as partition magic...
it's always advised to make a backup first as utilites (even the best) can
fail.

So I figure if you have a backup...you don't really need a utility at all...
just delete the partition and recreate as Fat32.
Thne resore from backup

Of course with winXP you can only create a Fat32 partition of 32 gigs

I have one question:
WHY change to FAT32? It only supports 32 gigs and NTFS is a lot better.

That's not true. FAT32 partitions can be large. It's just that with
XP's native tools you're limited to creating a max of 32GB but there are
other ways to make larger FAT32 partitions that XP can use.

BootIT NG from Terabyte

Not free, but a 30 day full feature trial download that I am sure if used
will be seriously considered as an essential utility priced well below it's
value.
