For part downloaded/incomplete AVI files

Don't know for AVI, but for MPEG files (some incomplete music videos I was
downloading in an IRC channel) I used VLC successfully.

I have loaded RAR and HJ split files w/ various vid formats directly
into VLC and prob about 50% or more depending on the movie type will
play...w/out un-rar'g or joining them. Pretty awesome, IMO.
It has played every partial AVI, MPG, and WMV file I have thrown at
it...I have a lot of codecs though.
People will have to get use to the interface..which is def no
frills..but I really like VLC a lot for what it can do.
BTW, I really like the portable free Fusion Media Player, too.
<I'm on a portable freeware thing at the moment...been collecting some
good little portable programs lately > :)
