Please anyone,
Will a good antivirus software (updated with latest virus
definitions) detect ALL viruses,worms,trojans created
from the beginning of computers-age? I mean, should it to
do so? I'm confused about how cumulative virus updates
works. Sorry if its a dumb question, thanks

Most AV programs issue virus signature updates on a regular basis,
sometimes daily. These are designed to update a database within the
program and are not necessarily cumulative. Perhaps this is an over
simplification on how they work. That's why when you purchase a new
AV program (or download a free one) you must update its data base with
the latest virus signature file. (update)

No such animal. That's why its recommended to have at least 2 anti-virus
apps on your pc ready to go. Run one in the background if you are into
that. Use the second as a double check.
