Is there an organization that would give an unbiased opinion which of the
available Antivirus programmes is the best?

Google for them. Most will tell you that KAP and then Symantec and then
one or two others get more than a 98.0% score.

LOL! Show us "most" of those, and how you arrived at "most" to begin
with! And ANY OPINION, is by definition biased.

Did you actually read the above links and their reviews, one of the
claims no file cleaning for three AV products that actually cleans
Viruses out of files, one claims no non-signature detection for several
products, one claims that it's the best, but they are a sponsored
site.... Most of those reviews accept advertising from vendors they
rated Number one! Another rates the products on things other than Virus
detection ability (only testing against 3 viruses), and puts more weight
on Availability and Installability than protection!
