The bad ones require users to purchase product versions and the good
ones offer licence so you always have the latest version, but at the
end of the day it's all personnel taste.
no... there are websites that show comparative reviews, but not of
*all* products and not necessarily the latest and greatest (performing
meaningful tests in this area is very time consuming)...
