I used e-Trust EZ Antivirus when I had Win98. Now I have changed to XP,
losing my antivirus software in the process. Attempts to download a fresh
copy have failed, and competent tech support is nonexistant. Can someone
offer suggestions for a replacement?

Jeff

www.grisoft.com, AVG is the title - FREE - and it works just fine. See the link at the bottom of this post.

You could try this Jeff:

Login to e-Trust Anti-virus Accont History. You will see your purchase and
expiry date. There are options to "Renew", "Resend Welcome Email" and
"Download Now".

Click "Download Now" and save it in your folder, then install again.

Good Luck.

Hello Jeff,

I would suggest Norton Internet Security 2003. "You'll have to pay a few
bucks, but I think it's worth it for all the security you'll have. On my
system I put money into my security (Anti-Virus, Firewall, etc...)

Norton has always been a good Anti-Virus for me. It's even saved my arse a
few times with mailing worms (it will automatically scan incoming e-mail for
viruses...pretty handy!)

Hi Jeff,

You can download eTrust Antivirus v7 for Windows installation file from:
http://etrustantivirus.ca.com/v7/eav7promo.exe

It is a free fully supported, fully functional trial that was to be only
available till the end of June, but it is still there....

It's junk
