My work computer recently had HP printing software installed, and since then
my computer has been sooooo-slow. I found this 'process' that is running and
lags the system on shutdown called antivga.exe. I can't seem to find much
info on it. It uses a lot of memory when my computer is on.

It is in the windows folder, and was able to find it in the registry, but
when I tried deleting it in the registry, it immediately rewrites itself.
Can't delete it, because it is always running.

Has anyone heard of this?

Have you tried using msconfig.exe to disable all startup programs, or
rebooting into Safe Mode, and then tried deleting the registry entry and
the file? However, if it is an infection then it is likely something
else loads the antivga process. See if the SysInternals 'filmon"
utility lets you see who accesses the antivga.exe file. Have you ran a
full scan using an anti-virus program, or checked for malware and or
spyware using Ad-Aware and Spybot?
