anoying "run as" window at startup.

I get this anoying user account "run as" window at start-up. How do I get
rid of it.

Where at startup, before you get to the desktop, after you get to the
desktop, precisely when are you seeing this and how long have you had this
issue?

The window appears after desktop and asks what user I want to run the pgm.
This started sometime last week and I can't relate it to any downloads or
added software.

You might want to try using System Restore to take your system back to a
time prior to when this began. Start\All Programs\Accessories\System
Tools\System Restore.
