After all the problems with Compatibility with games and
hardware...another serious issue due to Vistas constraints is the All
in wonder video card unable to capture under vista.
Its getting to a point where your really limited to what you can do
with your pc. Vista actually takes away user choices when it comes to
downloading , copying music and videos.

Yeah I wonder when MS is going to start writing drives for ATI products?
Idiot.

It's working fine for me.

Are you serious?
Don't you think it up to the hardware manufacture to write the drivers for
there hardware?
What a nut case.

So many peripheral manufacturers are having problems writing Vista drivers
that actually work, as opposed to simply writing Vista drivers, that it
would be in Microsoft's best interest to "help" write these drivers.
The small number of people for whom Vista works properly have the same point
of view as Senator McCain did about his recent shopping trip in Baghdad.

Nonsense... that would make them even lazier.
Not everyone struggles to write working code.

Evidence... chapter and verse?

McCain is using Vista in Baghdad?

Microsoft is not the experts on the hardware.
As for helping them, Microsoft did.
The major manufacturers had access to the vista code during the Beta
process but many chose to do little or nothing.
Similar happened with the release of Windows XP and will probably
happen with the next operating system release.

"The small number of people..."
Many of those checked to be sure their essential hardware and software
was compatible with Windows Vista before they ventured to change.

Windows Vista is not for everyone.
No one should consider upgrading until they have verified
compatibility with essential hardware and software.
No one is forced to upgrade.

Since ATI is responsible to their customers to support their products,
what has ATI said when you voiced this concern to ATI?

Idiot. Most of the driver writing is hired out...and most of these
so-called programmers do not understand Vista.

Your are posting in the wrong forum poor guy.
And you are accusing the wrong people poor guy.

If your hardware does not work on vista, then it is because it's
manufacturer did not make the drivers available on time.

So go to the forum of the manufacturer of your hardware, and tell them how
they suck !!

People can be stupid, don't they ?

We're supposed to be concerned that Vista won't allow you to continue
stealing copyrighted material?

That's odd.
It doesn't stop such material ending up on my computer.
How does one block the stuff?

I agree that software piracy, and stealing music & video material etc ... are
criminal.
That is why I never do so !
BUT :
It is not up to Microsoft to play the policeman, the CIA, the KGB or whatever.
MS = software manufacturer.

I suggest that MS does her job and that the police and others do theirs.

Nowadays they both punish people for not doing anything wrong.
And those who should do it, do not punish enough (do not even catch) the
real bad guys who do the wrong things.
Why does MS have to avoid these crimes ? My car does not prevent me from
driving to fast, does it ? It is up to the police to punish me if I do so !
The manufacturer of my car couldn't care less.

What a bizar world with contradictory measures are we living in ?

Except here in these groups they are much ruder that McCain... :)
