another private folders and pages?........

Thanks for all the replies below re: pics in private
folders. Another question: My web created _borders folder
so I put my borders there, but I guess the same would
apply to borders? I guess I should not use a private
folder or you won't be able to see them? Also what about
the private folder for the discussion web with the
articles? I guess this should not be private also.

I'm confused because FP created these folders as private?
I thought I read that the purpose of private folders and
pages was so that search engines did not pick up on these
pages. Any comments? thanks
 
FP _hidden folders are just hidden (but will be found if you link to them in any way)
The _private folder is just a special _hidden folder w/ read and write permissions managed by FP
