Hello all,

I am not sure where to post this so here goes.

Whenever I click on a MS program to open/start it, I get an
error message that states "Another installation is already
in progress. Complete that installation and try again."
After that the 'start' stops and I get nothing.

IF HOWEVER I am starting some other program, that message
comes up, I click OK, and the program loads.

I have tried Repair of the 2000 installation and sometimes
it tells me that I cannot load MS2000 on top of MS2000 SP4.

I don't know how to tell Win that there is no other program
installing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you have Office 2000, try uninstalling and reinstalling it.

Jerold,

Went there, makes sense, went to REGEDIT, followed the path
but could not find InProcess. I did a search from
CurrentVersion level and all that came up was RunInProcess
under Explorer.

Any other thoughts? Thanks again.
