Hi
I've upgraded from version 7 to version 10
Will the V 7 bootable rescue disk work with V 10,
or should I make a new disc?

IMHO, make a new disk.

Martin:
In my not-so-humble-opinion create a new rescue CD. Should take you all of
30 seconds, if that...

Hi TaurArian & Anna

Thank you for your replies, I'll make a new rescue CD

Martin,

No question. Make a new disk. While in theory there is some backward
compatibility within the same version number, I have never been able
to do a restore using the disk from the current update of data stored
by even the previous update. Jumping from 7 to 10 instead of 9.X to
9.X+1 would be certain to fail. Or at least, that is the only safe
assumption.
