I have some problems using wireless at my parents house, because there
is another access-point, which is trying to kill my existing
connection to my access point by saying, I have to use it
Can I in any ways try to find out of who is the owner of the access
point (for example by getting the IP-address and then finding the ISP)
or in other ways?
I don't know, if you understand my question

Unlikely, but why can't you just not use the other access point? Nobody is
forcing you to. If you're using Windows to manage your wireless, disable the
option to connect to that AP automatically.
If it's using the same name as yours....rename yours. The only way I'd see
that likely to happen is if you were using the default SSID anyway (which is
good to rename, and then also enable WPA or at least WEP).

I can't rename mine, because there isn't no web-interface to
configurate the AP

You need to set up your PC to connect only to your preferred connection
(as the earlier poster said).
I forget the details (I'm not sat at a wireless PC right now), but I
think there is an option in the wireless network icon, or maybe it is in
the network connections (Start.ControlPanel.NetworkConnections)

If you need to change your AP SSID :-
Your AP may have been set up to disallow configuration over the wireless
link.
Only wired connections would be able to see your AP configuration web page
(and hence your AP would be more secure).

So make a wired connection to your AP.
The AP web page address is probably on the bottom of the AP, along with
the default username and password.

It is a good idea to change the SSID, username and password (to
something different from the default), as this
reduces the scope for third parties to tinker with it.

If you can't configure (and entirely control) your access point, I'd get
another one!

Go to <http://www.belkin.com>, click on "Support Center" find your
router model and download a manual for your wireless router.
Read same.
