Have fianlly managed to set up the Home network using ethernet cables to
router.
Also managed to sort a shares problem I had earlier. All seems well except
for the
fact that on one of the computers when I try to open Windows Explorer it
seems
to hang forever until it eventually displays all drives, etc.

Have virus scanned it and check for spyware with negative results.

Any idea what could be causing this problem?

Thanks

Joaquin

Explorer is probably searching for network drives and printers.
In an Explorer window, go to Tools-Folder Options-View and make sure
that "Automatically search for network folders and printers" is not checked.
