Annoying internet window pop ups

I recently downloaded a couple programs trying to do something with binder
files. Since then, I have deleted these programs but when on line, I keep
getting pop ups. They are a blank page stating that IE can'tdisplay this
page. they pop up no matter where I am surfing.

I would try System Restore, first. Also, the IE, tools menu "Manage
Add-ons" may let you disable a recent Add-On that is doing that.

Thank you folks. I have done both, the spybot and the manage add ons. I will
see how tha works and let you know. It is still running slow

Gord,

It sounds as if your system has become infected with spyware. A number of
good applications are available that may help. I've found that using
multiple spyware removal tools is best. I have some links to some of the
