How do I disable the box "Some files added to Outlook contain macros. Be sure
to click Enable Macros when prompted to ensure that Customer Manager
functions properly," which pops every time I open Outlook? Then I have to
select enable or disable which really doesn't matter since I don't even use
the Customer Manager nor do I use macros.

I would uninstall the customer manager (windows control panel, tools,
options) if you aren't using those features.

That was supposed to be windows control panel, add/remove programs.

Customer manager is not listed in my Currently installed programs nor in the
Add/Remove Windows Components option. Where else should I look to get rid of
it?

Try Outlook's tools, options, other, advanced, addins and uncheck it. If it
still causes problems, it was probably installed as part of the office or
outlook installation and you'll choose office from the add/remove list and
choose the option to make changes.

Hi,

remove the files from this folder C:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office\OFFICE9\STARTUP;
right click on the files... cut.. paste them in a backup folder;
If the error doesnt go away copy back the files back into this folder
I presume Outlook is using Word as its email editor and hence a word addin
could be causing the problem

'Mos
