Hello Ravi..

I think these security updates are for general os. ( xp , win 2000, and so
on )
When do these release as xpe components ?
Is it possible these updates manually in the xpe ? ( file copy or something
like that )

Thanks
/steve

there is a mistake in one of these patches for XPe.

instead of comadmin.dll, a file comaddin.dll is created
so leaving the old comadmin, adding a useless comaddin.dll

I made myself a mistake,

comaddin.dll is located on system32 folder, and is ok
while the problem is only for comadmin.dll which is not
generated, leaving the old one.

note that I have applied the qfe 811279
(Repository look-up may cause incorrect files to be copied)

I notice that hotfix registry key created by QFE 810577 is wrong.
instead of HKLM\...\hotfix\Q810577
it is HKLM\...\hotfix\Q828035

a copy-paste mistake ?

I'm looking at the component right now ("SMB Redirector - Hotfix Q810577")
and i'm seeing q810577 in the hot key, so i'm not sure what you're looking
at.

Also, the other issue you raised is a non issue regarding the comaddin.dll
vs. comadmin.dll, that behavior is correct.

My apologies, you're correct about the decorated name, it's being
investigated now and released probably early next week. I'm sorry for the
confusion!
