If your present anti-virus has expired, it should be asking for money to
continue.. having paid and re-registered, it will continue working as
normal.. alternatively, you could use a FREE service like AVG.. a quick
search in Google will get you the download page..

Hello,

okay, first: what antivirus-software are you using? Anti Vir PE for example?
second: what operating system are you using? XP with SP2? Or different?

I´m using 'Antivir PE', and when the 'Virus Definition File' is older than
seven days (it´s a setting in AntiVir PE for the MS Securitycenter), the MS
Securitycenter comes up with the warning.

What i have to do than? Two things:
update Antivir PE, and second have a look for updates after having updated.
If the internet update tells me that my files are the newest than it is all
fine.

After that my XP SP2 MS Securitycenter stops warning me that my computer may
be at risk.

But it would be easier to help you if you give the newsgroup more infos and
write all things that may be interesting to help you...

kind regards

Dirk

if you are using mcafee you can download the superdat update from
http://download.mcafee.com/us/updates/superDat.asp then double click on the
downloaded file and it will update your dat files for you at no cost.
