I know how to make a specific animation effect on ONE textbox.

I am hoping that a number of textbox can simulatenously fly in. Can you
please suggest a way to achieve this? Thank you very much for your time.

Which version of PPT are you using? It makes a big difference on animation
questions especially.

Thanks a lot for your reply.
I am using Powerpoint 2002.

Set the Custom Animations to appear "With previous" as opposed to "On Click"
or "After previous". This will do the trick.

I have the same situation but using '97 (I know, it's old). I want to
transition in bullet points on a slide, one at a time.

Bullet points can animate in individually by making sure the "All at once"
option is not set on the text TAB in the Custom Animation dialog box. If
you only have one level of bullets set it to "Grouped by first level...".
If you have sub levels and want them to each come in one at a time change it
to level 5 (just to be safe).

Is this what you were looking for? If you are trying to animate multiple
objects on a slide at the same time in PowerPoint 97, you are out of luck.
Got to upgrade to at least PPT 2002 (XP).
