Animated .gif's

Hello all,

Just 'upgraded' to Office 2007 and have found that animated .gif
functionality in Outlook (don't know about the other aps) was removed
for 'security' purposes. Why wasn't this made an option and will it be
made available as a download for those who wish to have this feature?
 
Taking a backwards step in security is highly unlikely.

And thank you, Microsoft, for removing the ability for those annoying jumping useless .gifs to clutter up my email !!!!!!
