Animated Gif's In E-Mail Message

I am not able to view animated Gif's in my e-mails. Is there a setting I
need to change?

By the way, I can view them when other people send them to me. But I cannot
forward them (they lose their animation)...or I cannot create a new e-mail
with a saved animation copied and pasted into it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

TIA,
Suzanne

When you create a mail containing an animated GIF, your recipients will see
the animation. You, in the compose window, however, won't.

Okay then...do I just cut and paste it from another program? Does anyone
know if there is a suggested way to do this (i.e., which program should the
animated gif be opened in before cutting and pasting into Outlook).

By the way, I'm using MS Outlook 2003.

TIA,
Suzanne

Since the animation is contained within the gif itself, I'm not sure any
particular app needs to be used, but I've never tried it, so I don't know
for sure. I never send animations to my recipients. They've got better
things to do with their time.
