I have this older Sun Sparc Station II currently running
WinNT. I would like to upgrqade it to Win XP can it be
done ?
I know that I cold upgrade to Win2000 but definitely XP
would be better.
The box is mainly the DNS sever hosting the firewall etc
for a home network.
Any comments appreciated.

Thanx

Why bother?

If you have it set up as a NDS server and that is all it does, I would
leave it alone since you have it working just fine. I don't really see
many advantages in your case for upgrading.

I though Sun Sparc stations had Sparc processors NOT Intel processors.
Anyway I would suggest installing Solaris rather than Windows for
DNS/Firewall functions.
