Hi

Anyone recommend a good anagram program for use with scrabble?
Doesn't have to be fancy but a 'no install' would be nice. :)

Cheers

Not specifically an anagram program, but TheSage dictionary has a nice
anagram/subgram search. Requires install, but after installing it seems
happy enough for you to move the directory onto a pen drive/elsewhere...

I found this one:

http://jamesgart.com/anagram/

I haven't used it, but I just ran it through an AVG and it checked out.
Looks like just what you are asking for.

I don't reply to trolls like Andy Mabbett or Doc (who uses sock puppets)
for instance. No adware, cdware, commercial software, crippleware,
demoware, nagware, PROmotionware, shareware, spyware, time-limited
software, trialware, viruses or warez for me, please.

Thanks Guys.

Looks like just what I was after. The CrossGuesser looks good but is not
freeware.
Any idea if the last freeware version is still around?
But the others look good as well. Will give them a try.
Much appreciated.

Due to the way that Ziff-Davis changed access to their programs
(requiring a fee to download them), all versions are no longer freeware.
There may be a copy available on some other server, but the terms of the
ZD EULA for most of their programs state that distribution of the
program by anyone else is illegal.
