am typing the correct product key for power point ,will not take

am clearly typing the correct product key for installing power point but it
keeps tell me the key is wrong. have check and recheck. it is the correct one
as listed on cd .
other computer takes it but can not get it on this one

Couple of things.

1) Check very carefu||y, S0M3 Ietters and numbers look a I0t alike. Check
p/q/g, o/0/O, 1/I/l/|, and many other combinations can be easily confused.

2) Make sure the disk used to install onto that computer is from the correct
disk cover that shows the key. If there are multiple copies of the software
(which there should be if you do not have a special enterprise license) then
there will be multiple keys around as well.

If both of these are not the issue, then you may want to contact MS directly
for options.
