Alternatives for the outlook/exchange 2003 address book?

As far as I know, the 2003 address book is limited to two sort options and
there is no way to add fields to the grid. But if I use the fax client (SBS
2003/Exchange/Outlook) I have to use the address book ... furthermore if I
use Word I am also limited to the address book (icon in the bar) for
searching contacts ....

Is there any (commercial) alternative for the address book? Or is there any
other way to add fields and sort options to the address book?
