alternative to Tweak UI?

I have grown to love the Windows Power Toy, Tweak UI. I bought a new xp
system and cannot install it! I keep getting an error saying that it's not a
valid win 32 application.

Does anyone know of another product like this? I love to be able to
customize the side bar on the open and save windows...

There is one for XP.. the one you have may simply be corrupt.

Download and install TweakUI:

Microsoft PowerToys for Windows XP (TweakUI)
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx

After installing, go to Start > Programs > PowerToys for Windows XP >
TweakUI.

You must have Service Pack 1 or 2 installed before installing
TweakUI.

Yes, I'm all current - downloaded all updates and sp's when I set up the new
system...

Thanks for your help, but those steps above are exactly what I did and had
the problems. It's done now...one of the other posters helped me.
 
Don't use the itanium one, it is for 64 bit XP and it has not been released yet!

You probably had the earlier version for pre-SP1 and the new machine has
at least that and probably SP2. if you have installed XP SP1
