Alternative to Track Changes?

Is there an alternative to using Track Changes? I have a user who
wants the functionality of Track Changes, but he doesn't want
deletions to be shown in red type and crossed out. He wants all of his
changes to be made in red font only. But, he doesn't want to have to
highlight any text and click the red font button. Any thoughts?

It depends on what version of Word the user has. In Word 2000 and earlier,
and in Word 2003, the formatting for deletions can be customized through the
UI (Tools | Options | Track Changes). Only in Word 2002 does this require a
macro to edit the Registry.

Take a look at Menu: Tools/Options, Tab: Track changes. Here you can
specify how you want changes to be formatted.
