I installed various WinXP power tools on one of them replaced the standard
Task Switcher window with a different interface. The interface is the pits
and I cannot determine which power tool replaced it and how to remove it. I'm
sure I've looked right at the darn thing but the light is not coming on in
the brain. Suggestion would be appreciated. I want to return to the original
interface for this function.

OK, how do I uninstall the darn thing. I don't see it in the control panel
add/remove

I don't know, I have it listed in add/remove programs, just checked.

OK it is now working, e.g. I'm back to the original state.

I used your link to install the PT, then I could see it in the Add/Remove
window. So I uninstalled it but then when I Alt+Tab I still saw the PT
version - BUMMER. BTW now it is not in the Add/Remove window.

I then installed another application which required a reboot so I rebooted -
NOW WE HAVE SUCCESS and when I press Alt+Tab I see the original Task Switcher
window ------- YEA!!!!!

Big thanks to all who helped!
