ALT + S not working

I'm working with a client whose keyboard shortcut to send
an open message (ALT + S) has stopped working. We have
tried the other ALT key.

All other keyboard shortcuts work, and CTRL + ENTER will
still send the message if Word is not enabled as the
editor.

Check to see that another program hasn't hijacked your
shortcut. Some screen saver programs have this habit.
