When I press ALT+CTRL+DELETE keys, I do not get
a "window" that shows me what processes are running. Can
you help with this problem.

Hi Ron,

Click start/run and type msconfig, then click ok. Does this tool open?

If not, then you have a virus, likely Klez or Yaha, both of which disable
the system tools. While you clean up the system, you can use the emergency
tools described here:
http://www.dougknox.com/xp/utils/xp_emerutils.htm

If it does open, then click start/run and type taskmgr.exe and click ok.
Does it open now? If yes, then you have either a problem with one of the C A
D keys or a policy in effect. If not, are you logged on as an administrator?

Hi

If you have only a strange looking Task Manager window, double
click on the border around it to get it back to the normal view.

You have got it into Compact mode: d-click anywhere in the grey border
to toggle back to regular mode

Put your mouse cursor on the Taskbar at the bottom of the scree. Right-click
and bring up a menu. Highlight the word " Task Manager" and click the left
hand mouse button. It will bring up the window for the Task Manager and show
all running processes.
