From the choices on the above website, which would you pick based on
price/performance/brand?

I bought one of the Gainward nVidia FX5900XT (Golden Sample) 2 months ago
and am very happy with it - I read a review in one of the uk pc mags which
rated it tops for performance and bang for the money. I'm not sorry I bought
it!

p.s. Cut & pasted so I don't top post - outlook express seems to do this by
default. Any way to change this?

I have the eVGA and am happy with it.

I recommend you ask this in alt.comp.periphs.videocards.nvidia. Those guys
can tell which companies have flunky return policies. Some companies have
a bad rep for post sale support.

I would go for the Gainward one, I have just brought a 128Mb FX5700 version
and am very pleased with it, (I am getting 31FPS on Doom 3 which is pretty
impressive as I only have it in a 1300MHz Athlon!)

Yes, there's a little program that fixes it...I think it's called OE
post fix or something similar...a google search will turn it up if noone
here posts a link. Nevermind, I did the search: OE Quotefix at
http://home.in.tum.de/~jain/software/oe-quotefix/
I'm pretty sure that's the right one.

Thanks for the link, downloaded & installed it - no more messy quotes or top
posting! (if this is top posted the damn thing didn't work)
