I have an ALPS MD-5000 printer that I'm trying to get to run on WinXP.
I got the 2.2.4 driver from ALPS, and I can do normal CMYK printing,
but I have not yet figured out how to configure it for printing with
the specialty colors, such as foils and white. Does anyone out there
have experience with this setup and can you help me get it going?

To use spot colours you need to specify the colours in your application and
then select in the driver the option named something like "use spot
colours".
RGB values for the gold foil is: 225, 160, 0 and for the silver foil is 189,
193, 197.
