Can anyone help with this little problem? How to get Win
Xp to sort a directory properly ? The problem is, if you
have tracks/files 001,002,003,004 and then write
tracks/files 01,02,03 they are listed
001,01,002,02,003,03 !!!! They should be
001,002,003,01,02,03 as in Win98. I've also noticed that
if you have a file like 1song1, this is above all the 00x
prefixed files . Since when is 1 less than 0 ? There are
even 8xxxx files above the 000x files. Win 98, Me and 2000
list in proper alpha numeric order so is Xp dyslexic ? Is
there a fix ?

XP home and XP pro list the same way, alphabetical files
are fine, numerical are not so good.

Add the following into the registry:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Currentversion\Policies\Explorer\]
"NoStrCmpLogical"=dword:1
