Allowing those without access to view data

I have Access2003 and I am looking to share data with co workers who do not
have Access. I would have two audiences. The first would simply need to
view data whenever they need it (otherwise I would simply email snapshots).
The second would need to view data and make entries as well.

I was thinking of using web pages and pointing the page at a networked drive
that woudl host the DB. Having troubleing getting the pages to actually
change data though. I can view the data, by changes are not allowed.

Any thoughts?

The simpliest - and best - answer would be to simply get access for each
terminal. You could then allocate the correct level of rights to each person
using passwords.

Access can be very simply loaded on to a served based system

Wayne,

This would make perfect sense if I did not have to deal with bean counters
:) If everyone had Access, I could split the database, set user rights, and
be on my way.

I was hpopng there was a free or almost free way way to do this. I have
purchased VSTO, so we'll see if I can get the packager running.

Thanks for the reply
