Allow this program to run in background problem

Can anyone tell me why when I take the check out of Allow
this program to run in background in windows messenger &
I restart my computer the check keeps going back in. I
also use MSN Messenger 6.2 also but not at the same time.

Because Windows Messenger is integrated into XP & un-checking any boxes
doesn't amount to much anyway. At least your Windows Messenger is being
honest & rechecking the box, not misleading you.

To really disable Windows Messenger check up a few threads. and look at my
reply.
