Allow others to Edit in Frontpage 2000

I would like to create an interactive site where others can add and edit information. Before I invest a lot of time in learning FrontPage 2000, can you tell me if this is possible?
 
Yes either w/ them using FP or you setting it up under FP in ASP and a database

Do you know how to setup that database so others can view information
or edit information in a site???

Requires the writing of a custom ASP based application with Login and
Edit/delete function, etc.
