all windows mega size

Somehow I changed all my window sizes to open larger than the screen so that
I have to constantly scroll up and down. This includes my start up window.
I have tried to resize by pulling in the corners but does not work. This all
happened when I was playing with the dispay (screensaver, resolution, etc)
Changed something but don't know what. I should stop dinking around! Laptop
so no monitor controls.
 
Thank you....it ended up being the resolution too high!

Resolution too low, you mean. High res= More stuff on screen.
