Thanks for the reply. I've tried your method but has no effect at
all, not even after reboot.
One more point that I found out after posting. I have several files
in the "Shared Documents". But now they cannot be shown in Windows
Explorer, regardless of which user id I logon with, not even
administrator. But when I create a new file and save to Shared
Documents, it can be shown and can be shared. Only old files that
cannot be shown. I know the old files are still there because I can
use previously created shortcut to open them. And they can be shown
under "Documents & Setting - All Users - Shared Documents" folder in
Windows Explorer.
Any further help is much appreciated.

By default, the Programs menu contains items from the All Users
profile and items from the user's profile. If you enable this
setting, only items in the user's profile appear in the Programs
menu.
Tip: To see the Program menu items in the All Users profile, on the
system drive, go to Documents and Settings\All Users (WINNT)\Start
Menu\Programs.]]

Hope this helps. Let us know.

I have several users in my win xp pro. But each of them, incluse
those with admin right, can only show their own programs (under
their name in the "Documents & Settings -> Start menu" folder) in
the Start -> All programs list. Those installed under "All users"
cannot be displayed. Is there an option somewhere that control this?
