All Users folder in Windows Explorer with SP2

Having successfully (?) installed SP2, I've noticed that the All Users folder
is no longer visible in the Explorer tree unless I enable "show protected
operating systems" in folder options. I know that this is not correct as
I've recently installed SP2 on a friend's laptop and his All Users folder is
visible. I also know that All Users on my machine is working properly as
recently installed programs are in there. Is there a way to restore the
status of All Users in the Explorer tree without enabling protected operating
system folders?
 
Remove the System and Hidden attributes for "All Users" folder, using the Attrib command:
