All Tray Icons Gone

All my Tray icons (near the clock) have suddenly disappeared! Yet the
programs normally shown there still seem to be running.

If I go to 'Hide Unused Icons' the box is greyed out!

Have you tried rebooting?

Did you make any changes to the system before that happened?

If you did, try reversing them - in Safe Mode if necessary.

If not, check your system for viruses and spyware with updated scanners.

Try disabling the SSDP Discovery Service and the Universal Plug and Play
