Couple friends brought their dell over to attempt to burn some CD's. After
their attempt, I plugged my Gateway back into my monitor, etc., and now
everyone looks like a Martian. How can I fix this?

Check that you haven't bent/broken any of the pins in the monitor cable.

In the monitor's controls, make sure that color adjustment is normal- maybe
something got bumped in the handling.

The two computers most likely have different video cards, did your friends
adjust your monitor while they where burning?Play with the knobs and/or
buttons on your monitor to adjust.

As others have stated, you likely have a bent or broken pin in the connector
on your monitor's cable. Has happened to me in the past.

Check the pins on the video cable.
Try this monitor on another computer.
Try another monitor on this computer.
If the same thing on another computer, either a pin in the video cable
is damaged or the red color gun is bad.

It is either a damaged cable/pins, or you damaged your video card by
disconnecting or connecting the cable while the computer was on.
