All programs started by double click are opened in Microsoft Word 2003

All programs started by double click are opened in
Microsoft Word 2003. If I do right click on any file i
see ,that the default action for it - Edit. How this
problem can be solved?

in any folder-- Tools/Folder Options/File types--
Click add enter exe - ok then close . Your apps should
now load as they should.

picked in opens with dropdown below extension.
