All Programs menu in the START menu - missing programs

Recently the full list of programs on my PC has
disappeared from the All Programs listing in the start
menu - this includes all the basic Microsoft Office
programs such as Word and all my other Microsoft and main
supplier programs.

Can anyone help me recover to my previous state?

Maybe you aren't signed in as the same person as you used to?
Log out & log in again as who you used to be?
