all my folders are Read Onlyin XP Pro

All my folders like myMusic are Read Only and I can not
change it. The files inside the folders I can change but
why not the folders. It's giving problems testing a
database on my localhost

Im having same problems here with my windows XP Pro
edition ... can someone please explain why ? or help us
out ?
